It has become customary for our academic Institutions (both Secondary and Tertiary) to churn out graduates at the end of every academic year, with sterling results but most times without any hope of possible employment. Accordingly,  the need for personal and corporate effort for, not just certified students but most importantly skilled graduates beckons. This need we have tried to address at St Monica. With our history of Vocational/Entrepreneurship studies, we have tried to integrate Skill Acquisition into the Secondary School Curriculum. Such that with each passing year, we continue to move closer to a more structured training of students  and overall Curriculum integration.

Once again, we showcase for our appreciation the handwork of our JSS 3 students and your wards.

Having completed their BECE Exam, their free-time was judiciously employed for training and exposure in Skill Acquisition as seen in the attached pictures.
It is unfortunate that some parents are yet to see the need to key into this vehicle of progress. Unfortunately, they think that its always about enriching the school without seeing that it is a student-centered program.

For the participants in the programme, we encourage their parents to ensure further exposure and engagement especially during this time of their long stay at home in anticipation of their Senior Secondary studies.

The different African and Continental dishes are not left out. Our Aim is to have young women who are equipped for all spheres of life.

Recall that the Auxiliary Bishop of Enugu Diocese unveiled and commissioned the modern refectory recently built for the students to improve their living condition and promote hygiene.
